Description: Mastersmith Daniel Winkler has defined an era in knives. His work evokes an earlier time when life was simpler and craftsman ship was exemplary. This spear point pipe tomahawk is the second pike hawk that he has created. The curly maple handle has a light grain structure moving through the hollowed haft. The sculpted heat features a spear point design and a hollow pipe. It was crafted in the tradition of bladesmiths of a past era and designed for uncompromising performance. Unquestionably, soon to be a family heirloom. The total length of the head is 8 1/2". Accompanied by certificate from the maker.
This hawk was featured on page 28 of the September 2006 issue of Blade Magazine.
