Description: This European styled long dagger shows off Ron's attention to detail to best advantage. The blade is mirror polished D2, a high carbon steel used extensively in the tool and die industry. The high chromium content gives the steel additional resistance to corrosion, while the high carbon content allows it to maintain an excellent edge. The hollow ground edge creates a very strong central grind line. A mosaic pin has been set in the ricasso for detail. Pre-ban elephant ivory and stainless steel spacers alternate. The wood and stainless steel sheath is a nice touch and shows off the dagger well. Excellent fit and finish throughout.
