Description: Stefan has an excellent sense of lines and style -- often mixing the style of Scandinavian knives with designs such as the American Bowie. The stock from which the blade was formed was very thick -- just over 1/4" across. This gives the knife a substantial feel in the hand. A long clip follows from the tip along the spine, resulting in a pointy, aggressive tip. The sambar stag scales are exceptional. This material, which is increasingly difficult to find, results in a very secure hand hold. The leather sheath was hand sewn by Stefan. An exceptional sole-authorship Bowie with a great fit and finish throughout!
