Description: This rare find has a blade made of 6-K Stellite with a satin finish and a clip point. Wayne only made one stag crown folder with Stellite. Stellite is a cobalt based alloy that has tremendous edge holding and is non-corrosive. The bolster is made with stacked steel on brass. The handle is made from scales of stag crown, widening toward the butt. The liners are pink brass. The steel backbar has been elegantly fileworked. This knife is #454 (noted on the right side of the blade). It was made in January 1980 and was the second of Wayne's antler crown folders -- one of his most popular designs. It is in mint condition and has never been used to cut.
