Description: High carbon railroad spikes have served as source material for knifemakers for generations. As the railroads were making their way across the plains, spikes were left behind, many of which contain a high amount of carbon, creating an excellent edge.
Raymond has taken a spike and forged it out into an axe head. The back is left with the initial shape. Antiqued leather and wood are finished out with brass pins. A forge finish to the head matches well with the antiqued handle. This knife will make a elegant accessory for any railroad or knife aficionado.
Head length is 7", cutting edge is 2.125".
