Description: Mastersmith Daniel Winkler creates pieces that evoke an earlier era in American history. This Native American style spike tomahawk was crafted in the tradition of bladesmiths of a past era and designed for uncompromising performance. Rawhide has been hand stitched to cover the laurel wood handle for a very secure grip. The head is hand forged from 5160 carbon steel has a forge hammered finish. The hand stitched blade cover was designed and created by Karen Shook. The total length of the head is 6 3/4". The cutting edge is 2 7/8". Accompanied by certificate from the maker.
