Description: Jim puts an incredible amount of work into his Damascus patterns and has become known internationally for the detail of his fixed blade knives. It is very exciting that he has begun making folding knives and has brought the same attention to detail. The Damascus has been heat blued and makes a very dramatic effect. The paua shell thumbstud brings out the blues in the blade and bolsters. The bolsters are dovetailed to rich burnt cream mastodon ivory scales. The backbar is heat blued 1084 carbon steel fileworked with a diamond pattern. The titanium liners have been jewel polished on the interior. The blade is well centered and the action is smooth.
