Description: Jim puts an incredible amount of work into his beadwork mosaic Damascus patterns by laying out the pattern piece by piece, in this case utilizing over 500 elements. The result is an incredibly complex pattern that heat colors to amazing blues and purples. The dovetailed mammoth ivory bark scales have tremendous texture and good coloration that set off the blade, bolster and backbar to perfection. The backbar is heat blued 1084 carbon steel fileworked with a diamond pattern. The titanium liners have been jewel polished on the interior. The blade is well centered and is easily opened using the paua shell thumb stud.
