Description: Jim puts an incredible amount of work into his Damascus patterns and has become known internationally for the detail of his fixed blade knives. It is very exciting that he has begun making folding knives and has brought the same attention to detail. The Damascus has been heat blued and makes a very dramatic effect. 1084 and 4600E carbon steels have been forged along with cable and the primary chain from a Harley. The resulting Damascus is very dramatic and has excellent contrast. The bolsters are dovetailed to rich burnt cream mammoth ivory scales. The backbar is heat blued 1084 carbon steel fileworked with a diamond pattern. The titanium liners have been jewel polished on the interior. The nickel silver thumb stud holds a raspberry garnet. The blade is well centered and the action is smooth.
