Description: Jay Hendrickson has made a very few Kukris in his career, but when he does, the effect is stunning. This piece was made in 1993 and is in new condition. The unique L shaped blade has tremendous forward heft and moves through the air with grace. The fine silver inlay on the handle evokes the spirit of the far East. The Kukri, which was used in battle and the hunt by the Gurka people was worn proudly. They honor it as a special weapon which contains a spirit of its own. Excellent fit and finish throughout.
