Description: The camp knife is one of the hallmarks of the American knife, having caught the imagination of collectors. This sturdy, heavy bladed knife is designed to be used out in the wild, for a variety of tasks from chopping wood cleaning camp.
Jimmy Fikes forged this masterpiece in 1980 and it has been well cared for and in mint condition. The thick full tang assures a study construction. The curved lacewood handle feels great in the hand and creates a very strong hold. The fit and finish throughout is excellent, as you would expect from a well known maker such as Fikes. A very rare find.
