Description: Glenn Waters work is some of the most unique and inspirational work being created in knives today. Though born in Australia, Glenn has lived in Japan since 1986. His strong interest in Japan and its culture is clearly reflected in his knives.
Richly heat colored Robert Eggerling Damascus forms the blade. A motif of grape vines and leaves in inlaid in gold on the blade. The mountain grape leaf is 20k green gold, whereas the grapes are 24k pink and 20k green gold. 24k yellow gold provides accents. On the reverse is an inlaid pink gold butterfly. The thumb opener s 19k gold.
The backbar is high carbon Damascus and is inlaid with black lip mother of pearl. It has been fully fileworked and heat blued inside and out. The liners are fully fileworked and anodized titanium.
Rich mammoth ivory bark forms the scales. A pink gold butterfly has been inlaid into the left side.
Exceptional fit and finish throughout from one of the true masters of the art.
