Description: Barry created the high-contrast Damascus he used on the blade and bolsters of this stylish folder by forging together some of his mosaic Damascus, twisting it, and heat bluing it. The result is a matte-finish blue and purple steel with highly reflective nickel flecks throughout -- both fascinating up close, and from a distance. Barry paired this exciting Damascus with textured, highly figured mother of pearl scales. With Barry's usual attention to detail, the screws are all heat blued and fileworked. The blue topaz thumbstud contrasts the blade beautifully and picks up the blue flashes in the mother of pearl scales. This is an excellent example of a Gallagher Custom Knife.
