Description: Matt Diskin is well known for creating extremely precise folding knives. The "bug splat" pattern Damascus is fascinating, showing tremendous detail and control. This same Damascus is used for the bolsters, blade, dual thumb studs, and backbar. The mother of pearl scales have excellent figure. The 15N20 liners have been fileworked in a broad, dramatic pattern. By extending the liner where it is used to close the knife, Matt has made the closing mechanism extremely easy to operate single handed. The screws have been fully fileworked and heat blued. The dual thumb studs are created from matching Damascus and are formed in the shape of four sided pyramids. The scale release mechanism is easy to use, but well hidden. The spring can be disabled by backing out a screw hidden behind the forged Damascus pocket clip. Excellent action.
