Description: Bob Bizzell is well known for forging some of the most creative Damascus found anywhere. This bowie has a large canvas to show off his full skill. The pattern is bold enough to be fascinating from a distance, but also has tremendous detail such that when seen from a distance the blade becomes all the more fascinating. The spine has been fileworked in a vine pattern.
This one-of-a-kind knife has been featured in the March 2005 issue of Blade Magazine and is featured on the cover of "Coltelli Annuario 2005" -- the 2005 Italian Knife Annual.
The full tang design ensures a very strong knife, as well as revealing the Damascus tang. The scales are exhibition grade mammoth ivory with deep blues, greens and caramels. The guard is among the more artful creations that I have seen to date from any maker. The thick gun blued finish is mirror polished to perfection.
