Description: Ron Best is well known for his attention to detail and as well as fit and finish. This bowie knife has been in a private collection and is in new condition.
The fully fileworked spine is both decorative and gives a secure hold in the hand. The bolsters are dovetailed for a perfect fit and finish. The convex ground blade will hold up well under serious use. Black spacers assist pre-ban elephant ivory scales to adjust to temperature and humidity changes. The handle has been nicely sculpted with finger grips. Excellent fit and finish throughout!
