Description: This early Daniel Winkler miniature was made during the mid to early 1980's and is in absolute new condition . . . quite a collector's find! The sheath is the style done by Daniel at the time when Karen Shook first started working with him. It may be the work of either Daniel or Karen. The engraving is very well done. The dovetailed bolsters meet perfectly to the mother of pearl scales. It is very exciting to be able to show an early piece by one of the makers who has come to define the primitive knife movement.
