Description: Up and coming maker, Jordan Buckley has tremendous attention to detail. Jordan, who is 19 years old is a Washington native. His passion for bladesmithing is clear throughout all his work. His work and aesthetic has tremendous refinement despite only having been making knives for 5 years. Perhaps it is no surprise that he aspires to become a mastersmith by 25!
The dramatic dagger-ground blade was hand forged. The 1084 carbon steel core is surrounded by ladder pattern damascus, combining 15N20 and 1084 carbon steels. Jordan's touchmark is on the ricasso. The blade is well balanced and features clean grinds.
The Arizona desert ironwood hande has carm tones. The guard is polished stainless steel. A ferrule is formed from stacked layers of bronze with a thin titanium spacer.
Jordan is clearly a maker to watch. Exceptional work throughout!
