Description: Up and coming maker, Jordan Buckley has tremendous attention to detail. Jordan, who is 19 years old (as of the spring of 2023) is a Washington native. His passion for bladesmithing is clear throughout all his work. His work and aesthetic has tremendous refinement despite only having been making knives for 5 years. Perhaps it is no surprise that he aspires to become a mastersmith by 25!
This small knife made by Jordan will function perfectly as either a very small paring knife for detail tasks in the kitchen or a general use desk knife for opening letters and packages.
The blade is forged from Jordan's own twisted W's damascus forged from carbon steel to ensure excellent edge holding and chip resistance. The bold, high contrast pattern is extremely engaging. The spine is rounded for comfort. Jordan's touchmark is on the left side of the blade. Because the knife is forged from carbon steels, we recommend using camellia oil to protect the blade from rust.
The handle is vintage butterscotch Micarta, secured to the full tang using red G-10 pins. The vintage laminated handle material shows unique aging lines. It provides a durable grip that doesn't easily become slippery.
Excellent work throughout!
