Description: Henry Hilden began making knives in 1995 and has become one of the most accomplished knifemakers in Sweden. He produces exceptionally stunning damascus blades and the fit and finish of his knives easily rivals some of the best knifemakers in the world. This Linerlock Folder is a prime example of Henry's incredible work and could easily be at the center of any collection!
The 3-1/4 inch blade is forged from Henry's own multi-bar mosaic damascus. It combines carbon steels to ensure excellent edge holding and chip resistance. The elegant pattern will have you staring at the blade for hours. The blade can be easily opened using the right-handed thumb stud. Because the blade is forged from carbon steels we recommend using camellia oil for the blade and natural ivory scales.
The handle combines ancient mammoth ivory with mosaic damascus front and rear bolsters. The ancient ivory is caramel toned with dark black veins moving throughout the ivory. These colors move into the ivory from surrounding soil while the tusk is buried in the permafrost for thousands of years. The backbar is heat colored twist damascus surrounded by fileworked liners.
This knife is sure to be at the center of any knife collection.
Excellent work throughout!
