Description: South African knifemaker Jaco de Kock creates an exceptional folder. This Kazi Front Flipper will be the highlight of most any collection, but would also be a good choice as a daily carry folder.
The blade is hand ground stainless damascus forged by Damasteel in Sweden. This high performing damascus is created using powder metallurgical steel manufacturing to provide excellent edge retention and unmatched beauty. The pattern is revealed in the grinds. The flats are mirror polished nearly hiding the pattern. The blade is hollow ground for an easy to maintain edge.
The frame is bead blasted titanium. The external titanium pivot is surrounded by a thin titanium pivot collar and a wider heat colored titanium damascus (Timascus) collar. The gently rounded handle is comfortable to grip. The heat colored Timascus pocket clip is mounted for right-side, tip up carry.
Exceptional work throughout!
