Description: Legenday knifemaker Tim Herman has been making knives since 1978 and learned from some of the greats of knifemaking, including Buster Warenski, Jim Hardenbrook, Steve Hoel, Ron Lake and HH Frank. He is known as one of the top makers of investment grade folders. Tim is featured in David Darom's already book, Art and Design in Modern Custom Folding Knives.
This one-of-a-kind folder is quite a knife. It has been in a private collection and was meticulously cared for. It does not appear to have ever been used to cut and is in new condition.
The spearpoint blade is hand ground stainless ladder pattern damascus forged by Bob Hubbard. The blade has smooth action and is perfectly centered.
The handle is 416 stainless steel that has been meticulously engraved in floral scroll style. 24k gold inlay highlights the meticulous engraving. The engraving and inlay was done by Ray Cover. The center of each side of the handle features black jade inlay.
