Description: Seattle native Jeff Driscoll's knives are unique, dramatic creations. A plumber by day and knifemaker by night, Jeff loves using handmade knives as his art canvas. Jeff is often influenced by the work of Swedish makers which really comes across on this Nordic style hunter.
The mosaic pattern damascus blade was forged from carbon steels by Ukrainian bladesmith Gregory Verizhnikov. Gregory is an armorer, sword maker, blacksmith, knifemaker, and mosaic damascus maker living in Lviv. The intricate pattern is immediately captivating and draws attention for closer examination. A heat blued finish makes the blade particularly dramatic! Because this knife is forged from carbon steels, we recommend camellia oil to avoid rust and oxidation.
The handle combines presentation grade bocote with sections of turquoise. The handle is contoured to swell in the palm and fills your hand for a comfortable grip. A section of turquoise is also inlaid into the butt of the handle. A satin finished brass guard finishes the handle.
To keep the knife close at hand, a Nordic style sheath made by Jeff is included. The sheath is felt lined mahagony wood wrapped in leather. The swivel style belt loop is fixed on a ring allowing the knife to swing out of the way when sitting down.
Great work throughout!
