Description: Bladesmith Ed Schempp's knives are some of the most creative found anywhere. This knife was originally sold through BladeGallery.com in 2000 and has been cherished in a single collection since then. It is in new condition. During that time, it was featured in Knives Illustrated, Knives Annual, and the Nov. 2000 issue of Blade Magazine.
The "Snakewood Spirit Tanto" features Ed's " Spirit Steel," which incorporates yin/yang and Chinese calligraphy spirit characters bordered with W's. The Damascus show's Ed's significant control in this medium. The armor piercing tip widens at the point for strength. A mokume ferrule separates the blade from the exhibition grade snakewood handle. Exceptional work throughout.
