He is also well known through his work with Alec Steele on their highly successful YouTube channel. Will received his journeyman smith credentials at the Blade Show 2022.
This high performance chef's knife is a perfect choice as a primary knife in the kitchen. The blade is well suited for slicing vegetables, meats, and more. The gentle arc of the cutting edge is perfect for a rocking, chopping motion with plenty of finger clearance over a cutting board. At 6-3/4 inches, it is a comfortable size for easy control. This nimble knife is sure to become your kitchen favorite.
The 6-3/4 inch chef knife is made from Will's own serpent's tongue damascus forged from carbon steels to ensure excellent chip resistance and edge holding. The damascus tongue moves through the jet black blade like a snake's tongue flicking in the dark. The resulting blade is extremely dramatic. The spine and choil have been nicely rounded for comfort. This blade is extremely thin and lightweight for high performance cuts.
The handle is South African rooibos wood (Combretum apiculatum). The piece selected has exceptional figure and beautiful brown and golden tones moving throughout the wood. The handle is heirloom fit to the antiqued bronze bolster to ensure no sharp sections if the wood shrinks over time. This exceptional knife is sure to be your favorite go-to in the kitchen!
Exceptional work throughout!
