Description: South African knifemaker Jaco de Kock creates an exceptional folder. This Kazi Flipper will be the highlight of most any collection, but would also be a good choice as a daily carry folder.
The blade is hand ground ATS-34 stainless steel. ATS-34 stainless steel is high in carbon and chromium giving excellent chip resistant, edge holding, and corrosion resistance. The grinds feature a hand rubbed satin finish. The flats are meticulously polished. It is easily opened single handed with the ambidextrous flipper tab. The blade is perfectly centered and has smooth, consistent action. It is hollow ground for an easy to maintain edge.
The titanium frame is bead blasted titanium. The external titanium pivot is surrounded by a thin titanium pivot collar and a wider heat colored titanium damascus (Timascus) collar. The heat colored Timascus pocket clip is mounted for right-side, tip up carry. The gently rounded handle is comfortable to grip.
Exceptional work throughout!
