Description: David Brodziak started making knives from his home in Albany on the South Coast of Western Australia in 1989. He is a member of the Australian Knifemakers Guild and has earned an excellent reputation for his artistic knives. He has won numerous awards for his knives both locally and internationally.
The blade is ladder pattern damascus, hand forged by Garry Wood from carbon steels to ensure excellent edge holding and chip resistance. The damascus is high contrast and extremely engaging. The boot grind is hollow ground for a razor sharp, easy to maintain edge. Brodziak's touchmark is on the left side of the blade.
The handle is natural, jet black ebony wood. The natural texturing of the wood used creates an excellent grip. The handle culminates into a hand carved, highly detailed skull. Red and black fiber spacers will help the natural wood adjust to humidity and temperature changes. The handle is finished with a damascus guard.
Nice work throughout!
