Description: Captain Bunshichi Koyama is a tremendously creative knifemaker from Japan. His designs are truly innovative -- often combining ancient and modern materials into whimsical, unique creations.
This folder features a 3-1/2" VG10 suminagashi damascus san mai blade. VG-10 provides ultra-high performance with stain resistance. The blade is easily opened using the pierced blade hole. It is well centered, with smooth, consistent action.
Quincewood handle scales are set on anodized titanium liners. Mokume gane bolsters forged from brass, copper, and nickel meet nicely with the scales. At just 3.8 oz, it is easy to keep this elegant folder by your side.
Excellent work throughout!
