Description: I'm particularly fond of Roger's "Fish" pattern Damascus, which he uses as the center of this blade. It is forged together with the "W" pattern Damascus and then joined to the "Firecracker" edge. The result is a well etched and very complex blade. The carved guard is of mirror polished nickel silver. The handle is of the traditional oval shape and made of five pieces of ivory (including very rare cave bear tooth!), with nickel silver spacers. The cave bear tooth and wild boar tusk spacers are primarily cream and butter in color. The remaining three pieces have a slight texture and are the most dramatic blue possible in mammoth ivory. The color ranges from cornflower blue through dark navy.
