Description: Dietmar Kressler is one of Germany's most famous knifemakers -- though unfortunately his work only rarely gets to the US. This is an exquisite Loveless style Wilderness. The elegant lines of this fighter are matched with the skill shown in its creation. This knife has been in a private collection. It has been meticulously cared for and is in new condition. By all appearances, Kressler could have created it yesterday. A classy and sophisticated piece which is definitely a collector's item!
This knife is integral, with all steel formed from a single billet of RWL-34 stainless steel. It is meticulously and beautifully finished! The blade and front and rear bolsters are hand satin finished. The full tang is polished. The blade features Kressler's mark on the left side.
Handle scales are formed from premium sambar stag. A lanyard hole is included in the rear integral bolster. The tang features an elegant distal taper, ensuring a perfect balance. Red fiber spacers assist the handle to adjust to temperature and humidity changes. The fit and finish here is spectacular!
The knife is accompanied by a brown leather sheath.
