Description: Dale Miller's attention to detail shines through this elegant, slim profile gent's folder. The slip joint design, premium CPM154 stainless steel blade, and gaboon ebony (Diospyros crassiflora) scales make this a tremendous old school folder with modern performance. The Back Pocket design was originally developed by Tony Bose. He built it to be a perfect size to carry in your back pocket, set next to your wallet.
The 3.1 inch blade is formed from premium CPM154 stainless steel, with a Rockwell hardness of 61. This powdered metallurgical steel has a particularly small grain structure, making it take an extremely keen edge and hold it! The blade has nice action and pivots on aluminum bronze bushings. The high performing blade is thin for precise cuts. This also results in a folder that virtually disappears in your pocket.
Gently rounded handle scales are formed from gaboon ebony set on 410 stainless steel liners (Hrc 40). The jet black wood creates a timeless, classic folder. The backspring is formed from CPM154, heat treated to 48 Hrc.
Excellent work throughout.
