BladeGallery.com's Knife Upgrade Program
We collect knives. That's how we got into forging and selling knives. One thing we've noticed is that sometimes we are in love with a knife when we first get it, but after a couple of years it doesn't have the same attraction for us that it once did . . . our tastes change.
Handmade knives purchased from BladeGallery.com may be consigned to BladeGallery.com and the proceeds can be used to upgrade to new knives.
Knives purchased from BladeGallery.com may be consigned for sale on BladeGallery.com at a 90%/10% split. If you wish to consign a knife, please contact us first by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will negotiate a selling price for the knife (based on the condition and current market value) and when an agreement on the price has been reached, the knife will be placed for sale on BladeGallery.com. You can then use the proceeds toward a future knife.
Please contact us first before sending knives. Knives must be held by BladeGallery.com and should be mailed to:
107 Central Way
Kirkland, WA 98033
We will notify you via e-mail once we have received your package. Knives refused for upgrade or consignment will be returned by insured carrier at the collector's expense.
Please note that BladeGallery Inc. reserves the right not to accept any knife for any reason into this program.
Though the majority of knives sold by BladeGallery Inc are new from the maker, we sometimes consign knives from makers and collectors. Knives on consignment must be held by BladeGallery.com when listed on our site. In general, knives should be in new and unused condition. Please contact email@example.com for more information.
We are sometimes open to trading knives, though we have usually found that collectors get a better deal when they consign their knives and later use the proceeds from those sales to buy new knives. Please e-mail us if you are wanting to trade or consign knives at firstname.lastname@example.org.
